JACKSON — A man living in Jackson Mississippi who wished to remain anonymous aside from his online nickname “xxNotMyBeer1976xx” has stated that he will attempt to buy “every single can of Bud Light” in an aggressive attempt to bankrupt the beer giant after they promoted a marketing campaign that reached out to the transgender community, causing uproar in many southern states.
“It started out as kind of a joke with my friends you know? And then all of a sudden I had spent close to six figures on Bud Light alone!” He went on to explain that after a long night of “definitely not drinking Bud Light” he had decided that the only way to “make them pay” was to make sure they didn’t have any beer left to sell.
”It’s just a simple idea, something me and my town understood and could really get behind.”
With donations from Jackson locals and funding granted by state education boards xxNotMyBeer1976xx has raised a staggering $834,567 to buy Bud Light with.
“I can’t wait for Bud Light to come knocking at our door when they’ve run out of their ‘woke’ beer” one local commented. “We’ll see what our beer identifies as then, won’t we?”
Anheuser-Busch spokesperson and professional keg stander Jimmy reacted to the movement saying that “I really, really hope that they don’t keep buying beer man, I mean, what if they do buy it all? What will we do then?”
As of writing this article Anheuser-Busch stock has jumped 15 points.
