TRI-COUNTY — Wheezy, the beloved squeaky penguin from Toy Story 2 dropped the bombshell today that he wasn’t shelved by Andy’s mom, but Woody himself.
Stan Tapioca, the lawyer representing Wheezy spoke to a group of journalists outside the San Francisco Superior Courthouse Friday morning. “False imprisonment, assault, defamation. That is what we are talking about here.”
Mr. Wheezy revealed that after Andy had been playing with Wheezy more often than Woody – it resulted in the cowboy doll becoming extremely jealous and eventually forcing a tooth pick down the Penguins throat rendering him unable to squeak. This assault is what Wheezy claims led him to be shelved.
“Did not happen, big hoax, all lies!” Woody tweeted, adding that “Who would you believe? A washed up old penguin or the toy that wrote ‘You have a friend in me’, yeah that’s what I thought.”
This is not the first run in with the legal system for Woody since the animated series ended. Last year he was arrested for driving under the influence and assaulting an officer at the scene.
“He needs help, not prison.” Bo Peep posted. “We might not be together anymore since he beat me with my herding cane, but seeing him look for answers in a bottle breaks mine and the sheep’s hearts. We love you Woody.”
If found guilty, Woody faces up to 25 years in prison and fines of 2 million dollars.
